Plan
The planned route for this trip is three days each on the islands of Kauai and Oahu, followed by about 8 days around South Korea starting in Seoul. As of 24 hours prior to departure, I've reserved the rooms in Hawaii and a car for Kauai. Admittedly I am a bit nervous about not planning any of South Korea in advance, but sometimes a plan makes a nagging companion. Besides, plane rides always need a time filler.
